Self Defence Workshops

We offer Self Defence sessions/courses to a wide variety of groups and it can be tailor-made to your needs. Examples of how these sessions can be used are:

  • You are a neighbourhood watch group and need some expert training for specific scenarios;

  • for you and some of your friends as a way to learn self-defence and get fit at the same time;

  • you are going overseas with your family and would like to go through some travel specific scenarios;

  • you would like a team building session for your workplace;

  • you have been involved in a specific situation that you would like a solution to;

  • and many others!

Corporate Self Defence

It’s shocking to think that in any company, one in five of the women employed by that company will have experienced a sexual assault. Add that fact to frequent reports in the media of increased violent crime and it’s no surprise that many women feel unsafe and scared when out on their own. We all know that employees are a company’s most valuable asset; their well-being, both mentally and physically, has a huge impact on the success of a company. Investing in the safety of your staff through corporate self-defence training, means your female employees feel a lot safer and more confident, which in turn leads to a more productive workforce. More importantly, practical and effective personal safety and reality-based self-defence training can help staff avoid the trauma of an attack, and possibly even save their life.

Women’s Self Defence

Women need to be able to protect themselves from potential attackers. With rising numbers of attacks against women, it is important to take the necessary precaution to protect yourself.

Self Defence should be your right! Be prepared for likely situations of any form of abuse from strangers and more often from someone you know. Defend yourself from a range of sexual abuse and harassment situations (this includes drills from the ground) and learn to use your body for maximum leverage against a larger aggressor. We will prepare you for violence awareness & prevention. Develop the mindset to better respond to harassment situations. Topics include; types of violence, practical self-defence, managing fear, how to use assertive body & verbal language. Our goal is to make you feel empowered, fitter, stronger and safer.
